Glendale Utah

We were very fortunate to have chosen yesterday for our cruise, as we awoke the morning to overcast and drizzly conditions.

We had planned on traveling to Bryce Canyon today, if possible.  We were cruising along, saying how nice the weather looked up ahead, when all of a sudden we came round a corner to see the black clouds ahead, and the on coming cars with lights and wipers going.  We did have a back-up plan for such an event.  We stopped at a KOA just past a little town called Glendale.  When we got out to register at the office, discovered hail and puddles of water.  The lady in the office said that they had had hail for about an hour, with rain.  She's complaining that they haven't had summer yet.  She said we could wait and maybe the sun would come out in half an hour, which it did, but we decided to stay put.  Don't need to travel in bad weather unnecessarily.

The photos will show you some of the scenery we traveled through this morning and what our camp ground looks like.  It is really quite pretty here and we went for a lovely walk this afternoon.

We are in Utah now, so the time is Mountain Time, 8 hours behind SA.
