Santa Fe

 

Today, we traveled this very long distance, 75 miles, from ABQ to Santa Fe'.  As you know this was a two pronged trip.  Firstly, to test the RV after my Mr Fixit had worked on it yesterday and secondly to see Santa Fe'.  The first issue was very heartening.  The vehicle traveled better than it has ever done, I won't go into all the technical details, but it is fair to say Dirk was feeling a lot happier.

The scenery coming here was fantastic.  We had some really heavy climbing to do, we climbed from 5500 feet in ABQ to 7500 feet here in Santa Fe'. We are about 11 miles outside of Santa Fe', so we haven't actually been into the centre of town, but we plan to drive through it tomorrow.

We went for a walk this afternoon, and I was wondering why it was so tough, only afterwards did I discover what the altitude is here.
